Padlet!

 

   Hi everyone! This is my first post here and it is going to be about an online platform we've recently used in our class, Padlet. Padlet is an digital board which helps you to brainstorm and share your ideas by adding texts, images and videos on it in by creating note boxes and columns. You can use it individually or for a group activity for your students which makes it much more fun. All you need to do is that creating a new board, giving it a topic and now you can create columns by adding note boxes with the content you want, texts and multimedia.

 In our previous lesson, we used Padlet for an activity for whole class. Our teacher had created an Padlet board with the topic "What Does Learning Mean?", attached a video on the Padlet board and also prepared 7 questions about the video with the time stamples given on each column, for us, students to answer seperately. We were able to watch the video on the board and write our answers with our names on it by adding small boxes, creating each column. You can also edit your box, such as changing the color of the box or the font of your writing. This makes the Padlet board look much more interesting and pleasing. In the end, as a whole class, we have created a beautiful Padlet board with our diverse answers to the questions. I also had a chance to read my friends answers and see what i had lacked or answered differently than my friends. In that way, Padlet was very beneficial and fun for my learning experience.
